This is an informal meeting held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Every month a new topic of interest is introduced by one of our members and we discuss issues raised.  Recent topics have been education, AUKUS, demography, cancel culture, shipping, welcome to country, youth crime and manufacturing in Australia.

The venue is the meeting room of the Rylands Retirement Village in Riversdale Road Hawthorn, where we sit around a large table.  Coffee and pastries are provided by the Village staff and we provide the conversation.

The meeting lasts for 90 mins.  It is a great opportunity for members to learn from each other in pleasant surroundings.  Bookings can be made by contacting the Convenor, Allan Brownrigg.
