Based in Kew, the Probus Club of Port Phillip is a Melbourne-wide community of retired and semi-retired men and women from the professions, business and other vocations who enjoy fun and friendship and share intellectual, social and cultural interests.

The Probus Club of Port Phillip in 2025-26 is celebrating 40 years of continuous activities.
The club currently has more than 80 retired men and women members from a broad range of professional backgrounds. The focus is on both intellectual and social stimulation building fellowship and friendships.
Our monthly meetings are held from 10am to 12 noon on the second Tuesday at the Kew Golf Club, followed by lunch. We have a guest speaker focussing on a topic within their professional expertise. A monthly newsletter and a photographic membership directory are important instruments for on-going member engagement.
We arrange visits to interesting places such as art galleries, historical sites and businesses.
Each month we offer an informal ‘coffee and conversation’ meeting which engages up to 20 members in a discussion of a topic of current interest. A highlight of the year is an annual five-day GETAWAY in November to places in Victoria and beyond. This year we will go the Lakes Entrance and surrounds.
